For the past six years, as The Happy Dagger, Jim has produced and edited projects for Intel, A&E, AMC, Magellan Health, WEtv, Disney, Wix, Vevo, New York Hall of Science, EA Sports, Deloitte, Jaguar, Versace, Kenneth Cole, Unilever, Discovery Channel, and Stand Up 2 Cancer.
Previously at a boutique production company with a focus on the music industry, he created television commercials, electronic press kits, music videos, artist interviews, radio spots and movie trailers. His work helped to break new talent and drive worldwide sales for some of the biggest names in music. His clients as a producer and editor included EMI, Sony BMG, Universal Music, Virgin Records, RCA, J Records, A&M / Octone, Sean John, Nickelodeon, Worldwide Biggies, Warner Music, Capitol Records, BET, MCA, Geffen, TVT, October Films, Paramount Pictures, American Express, HMV Record Stores and Altitunes.
During a stint as a freelance copywriter, Jim crafted compelling and effective print, POP, and direct mail advertising for Tumi, GE Capital, Tme Inc., Sony Music, NASDAQ, Showtime, Swiss Army, Adweek, TriStar Pictures, Bazooka Joe, Southern New England Telephone, The Redeye Grill, QSP, Mars 2112, Cohn & Wolfe, Times Mirror Magazines, Lids, Techspace, and Liberty Science Center.
